The free trial of the Industry Watch Service provides access to a fully featured demo version. Independent benchmarks are provided for three sectors only but like the full Industry Watch service these samples are calculated from the financial statements of relevant companies. We have chosen 3 car dealership sectors to show again our advantage over relying on a simple SIC code which would not be able to focus down to this level of business classicication. Once you have used your log on password details simply click as appropriate to try the options using the three industry sectors provided as examples. You can view the latest accounting ratios on the screen, print a report of the industry statistics or download the industry average figures to a spreadsheet from TAB1.

The Help menu contains the product Manual in PDF format. The Help menu also provides examples of how to achieve some of the more common tasks like comparing market trends from more than one sector or graphing the industry statistics to make comparisons easily.

The trial version of the Industry Watch Service includes the facility to download a full report analysis. If you try this option from TAB1 of the demo (“download full report analysis”) you can see the detailed company analysis which lies behind the industry averages contained in the Industry Watch Service. These full reports are available to subscribers at a preferential rate as an optional extra.

Industry Watch Service - subscription options

We have three subscription options which are targeted at :

1. Short Term Users (7 days access to data on all sectors) - For those who require the figures on a sector or number of sectors for a particular project such as a business plan or investment proposal.

2. Standard Subscription (365 days access to data on all sectors) - Aimed at Accountants, Management Consultants & Business Development Executives.

3. Multi User Subscription (365 days access to data on all sectors plus 10 of the underlying reports). Any 3 registered users from the same subscribing company can access the data on any of the sector averages simultaneously. Additionally the latest version of any 10 of the detailed reports that underly the Industry Accounting Ratios are included in the subscription.

To determine the most suitable option I would recommend trying the free demo which is fully functional but limited to three report Car Dealership sectors shown in red from the 900 plus in the Industry Watch Service itself.
